Kate Sisk and Luke Cuccurullo are one of four couples from Philadelphia to tie the knot on Season 8 of Married at First Sight. Will their union last? That’s still up in the air but on the MAFS Season 8 premiere, they got to meet each other and say their vows before heading off to get to know each other.
Luke revealed on premiere night that he runs a speed dating service but despite being surrounded by singles quite a bit, he still hasn’t been able to find his own perfect match. He blames that on his busy schedule and his tendency to work a lot.
However, it just may be that Luke is incredibly picky or something is going on that is blocking him from finding love. That was indicated by a MAFS sneak peek shared by US Weekly where Kate reveals that Luke said he “felt dead and repulsed inside after we kissed.”
That’s definitely not a good start for Kate and Luke and we can’t help but wonder if there’s any coming back after sharing something like that.
At the wedding, Kate looked beautiful but it sounds like this isn’t the first time AJ has seen her. He definitely knew one of the women at the wedding because she had taken part in speed dating at some point.
Since there are four couples this time around instead of three, two of the weddings weren’t fully shown yet. Kate and Luke’s wedding is one of them but we did see up to the part where she started to come down the aisle.
As Kate was coming down the aisle, Luke looked a bit shocked and mumbled quietly that he already knows her. This seems to line up with the MAFS sneak peek but we’re left in a cliffhanger. Will Kate and Luke even manage to make it out of the wedding venue?
Some think that Kate and Luke won’t get married at all but it looks like they at least make it as far as the kiss, which Luke was not impressed with. We can’t wait to hear what his issue is with Kate but you can’t help feeling a bit sorry for her.
