Dance fans are going to LOVE tonight’s episode of Project Runway — which features Maddie Ziegler as a guest judge as the series teams up with new movie Leap!
The episode sees the Season 16 designers given a private screening of the hit animated movie, in which dancing prodigy Maddie voices the character of Camille Le Haut.
Host Heidi Klum and mentor Tim Gunn also treat the rivals to a performance by the Hiplet dance troupe from the Chicago Multi-Cultural Dance Center, who fuse classical ballet techniques with hip-hop and urban dance styles.
The designers then have to use their inspiration to create innovative and edgy clothes, which Maddie helps judge along with permanent judges Nina Garcia and Zac Posen.
Maddie first shot to fame on Lifetime series Dance Moms then gained even bigger prominence when she featured in a string of music videos by Sia including Elastic Heart and Chandelier.
She has also recently started moving into movies including her role in Leap!, which is in theaters now after being released last Friday. Her feature film debut was as Christina Sickleman in The Book of Henry, which was released back in June.
