Married at First Sight’s Molly Duff reveals on tonight’s episode that she thinks husband Jonathan Francetic is “frustrated” over their lack of physical intimacy.
She uses the phrase while confiding in fellow MAFS bride Shawniece Jackson about how she is feeling about taking things to the next level with Jon and why she is choosing to take it slow.
Molly says: “He’s not like pushing me or anything…” before Shawniece asks: “How is he, like supportive?” Molly replies: “Supportive, but he’s clearly, like, frustrated.”
The conversation comes as the two couples go bowling together, and while Jon and Shawniece’s husband Jephte Pierre are out of earshot. But Molly then reveals in an interview with producers that she doesn’t want Jon to give up just yet — and that she is trying to remain open.
She says: “I definitely don’t have a timeline with when I’m comfortable with physical intimacy, I mean it’s just all about being comfortable and having it be the right time with someone.
“But also it’s so important to remain open and…so many things can change in just a few weeks and…not expecting things to be perfect. Because I don’t want him to give up before it’s time to give up.”
This week’s Married at First Sight episode, titled Love Languages, focuses on intimacy with the couples now three weeks into their marriages. But when they attempt to grow closer together by exploring their fantasies, one date goes horribly wrong.
Married at First Sight airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Lifetime.
