My Big Fat Fabulous Life has catapulted the Thore family into stardom. Since coming on the air in 2015, they have garnered a lot of attention. While Whitney is the star, her brother and parents have definitely been a hit with viewers.
During the season premiere of My Big Fat Fabulous Life, Whitney Thore talked about her parents and their ailing health. Glenn was losing his hearing and Babs was working her way back from a stroke. With their health declining, Whitney became overwhelmed with emotion during a confessional.
How old are Whitney’s parents Glenn and Babs?
It looks like Glenn and Babs Thore are in their 60s, though they haven’t shared their exact ages with fans. However, My Life has both Glenn and Babs (Barbara) listed as being 72 years old. They have been married for four decades at this point, quite an accomplishment.
It has been almost a year since Babs had her stroke and she is getting back to normal each day. Whitney Thore has been taking care of her parents and attending appointments with them. Glenn now has two hearing aids to help him be able to actively participate in conversations.
Both Glenn and Babs are a highlight of My Big Fat Fabulous Life and viewers enjoy watching their shenanigans.
How old are Whitney and Hunter Thore?
Glenn and Babs Thore share two children together. Whitney Thore is the older sister and her younger brother is Hunter. Whitney is the TLC star, the one who signed up to tell her story to the world on My Big Fat Fabulous Life.
Whitney Thore is almost 35-years-old. She was born on April 14, 1984. This has been a point of contention for her because she has yet to start a family. Whitney has looked into adoption but she didn’t get the news she had hoped for at all.
Hunter Thore is less than a year younger than his older sister. He was born on February 14, 1985. The two are actually 10 months apart and they grew up incredibly close. Hunter often makes appearances on the show, most recently at Whitney’s birthday at the cat cafe.
My Big Fat Fabulous Life airs Tuesday nights at 8/7c on TLC.

Glenn, Whitney and Hunter please accept my condolences on the passing of Babs. She was a very loving caring lady to her family and fans.
Although I knew she was not well I prayed that she would overcome her setbacks. She put up a good.fight but God had a plan for her. He didn’t want her to suffer any longer.
All of you will be in my thoughts and prayers. I’m sure Heaven was happy to meet the feisty little lady that captured the hearts of many viewers that fell in love with her the first night the show aired.
I know I could not wait another week to see you share your lives with us.
I pray that you find comfort in knowing that all of you are loved.
