The Penn Badgley led thriller, You, joined the list of Netflix binge-worthy series over the Christmas holidays.
The series follows Joe Goldberg, who meets and falls in love with a woman named Beck. Goldberg begins to stalk Guinevere Beck, played by Elizabeth Lail, as her friends become suspicious of
Netflix picked up the series to join its original lineup after it originally aired on Lifetime.
When is Netflix releasing Season 2 of You?
Prior to the premiere of the first season, Netflix confirmed that the series will be returning for Season 2. The upcoming season does not have a release date but will likely premiere some time in 2019. With an early renewal at Netflix, the second season may get a Summer 2019 release date. The episode count is yet to be confirmed but will likely contain 10 episodes.
What to expect in You Season 2
Penn Badgley will reprise his role as Joe Goldberg in Season 2 and many new characters will be brought in as Goldberg relocates to LA. It is also possible that some ghost from the past will return to haunt Goldberg; therefore, part of Season 2 of You may be bi-coastal with the main character returning to NYC.
There are a lot of burning questions from the first season that the series will likely address in the upcoming season.
