7 Little Johnstons returned tonight and with that came some new things for the family. This new season will come with a new house which comes with some surprising and potentially devastating news.
Amber and Trent Johnston have five children. They have been filming their TLC show for a few years now and at this point, there have been a lot of moments featured on the show. The Johnstons sold the home they spent years renovating, something that was shocking to viewers as they ended the season.
Now, viewers are looking at how the Johnstons got to where they are in their new house. After selling their previous home, the seven of them moved into a hotel while they searched for their dream home. Of course, they had to rent three separate rooms, which wasn’t exactly ideal.
The Johnstons live in Forsyth, Georgia. It is still the same town the family has lived in and now, they have a brand new house. After spending two weeks in a hotel in limbo, the Johnston family was able to secure their new home.
Sitting on 10 acres, the home has a pool and plenty of trees and grass. In fact, their property goes all the way down to the river. The children were excited about their pool.
Not everything in the house was move-in ready. They still need to finish Jonah’s room and build out Alex’s room. Despite those two things, it looked like things were coming together for the Johnstons.
Although the family was incredibly happy with the new purchase, there were some unforeseen issues. The outside of the home is gorgeous but the inside just wasn’t as nice. Unfortunately, Amber and Trent found mold.
As that problem is tackled, there are other things being thrown at the family as well. This season of 7 Little Johnstons may be the most intense yet.
