It appears that 90 Day Fiance critics keep bothering Anny about the color of her daughter Brenda’s skin, so she asserted in an Instagram story that Brenda is black.
For Dominican Republic-born Anny to feel the need to publicly clarify her daughter’s ethnicity, she must have been receiving a lot of questions and comments about it.
Anny sharply stated in her Instagram story that both she and Robert are black to the invasive people who keep bothering her about it.
Anny often posts pictures and videos of Brenda on social media and gets a lot of responses but she feels having people question Brenda’s ethnicity is uncalled for.
Anny made a statement aimed at critics who were questioning Brenda’s skin color
After Anny posted a video of Brenda dancing to her Instagram story, it appears that she got so many responses questioning Brenda’s skin color that she had to follow the video up with a statement about her and Robert’s ethnicity.
Anny said, “Stop asking me why my baby is so black. I’m black and Robert is black……..(angry face emojis).”
Anny, Robert, and their family have gotten a lot of attention after appearing on the 7th Season of 90 Day Fiance, but it seems like Anny wasn’t prepared to hear people say things about her daughter.
Now that she has put it out there, hopefully these critics will leave her alone.
Anny and Robert are expecting their second child together
Anny and Robert welcomed their first child together, Brenda, in July of 2020, and announced in late April that they are expecting their second child.
Robert already had five kids from relationships with different women, and only one of his kids lives with him and Anny.
Anny thought she couldn’t get pregnant because she had relations for seven years and never got pregnant and also had irregular periods.
They are both overjoyed to be expanding their family, and their fans are excited to watch their journey.
90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? airs on Sundays at 8/7c on TLC.
