Asuelu Pulaa surprised 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After Fans? by revealing that he would like to have more children with Kalani Faagata. TLC viewers already believe that the couple has their hands full between relationship tensions and two small boys.
In a clip from Sunday’s new episode obtained by ET, Kalani and Asuelu decided to go car shopping. The Utah resident wants a smaller, gas-friendly car for Asuelu’s rideshare business. But her husband is looking at an SUV.
Asuelu quickly spots a large minivan that can seat up to eight passengers, saying, “I just want a big one because we have another baby soon, and it’s going to be all fit inside.”
The father of two continues saying, “I just give him some idea. We’ll have another baby. I want a big family, and this is the right car for us to get.”
Kalani is shocked at the baby revelation
Poor Kalani is left visibly stunned as she questions her husband’s motives, “I’m sorry, what are you saying? When did we talk about having another baby?”
TLC fans have questioned Auuelu’s parenting skills multiple times through his career on 90 Day Fiance. The Samoan never seemed to understand that in his new country, both parents were responsible for child-rearing.
Asuelu lacks motivation as a parent
He would often leave home to play volleyball even after Kalani had asked for his help. During the last season of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?, viewers watched in horror as he tried to bring both his small children to Samoa for a visit amidst a smallpox outbreak.
Kalani became pregnant with Asuelu’s first baby while on vacation in Samoa. At the time, the mother of two was a virgin and had fallen hard for the hotel worker. After a lengthy wait, Asuelu’s K1-visa was approved, and he was finally able to meet his son Oliver.
There have been major tensions between Kalani’s sister, Kolini, as she was skeptical of Asuelu’s parenting abilities. But Kalani also had issues with her husband’s mother and sister.
Both Kalani and Asuelu have argued over money in the past but have tried to turn over a new stone in their relationship. In a recent episode, they seemed to make up over a camping trip that led Kalani to confess that she had visited a divorce lawyer.
