On last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, we saw Yolanda and her daughter Kara looking at flights online, getting ready to book some plane tickets to Manchester.
Unfortunately, she didn’t end up booking any flights.
Initially, the two spoke about meeting in person, and Williams asked Yolanda to send him a couple hundred dollars to help pay for a plane ticket.
She wisely decided not to send him any money and told him she would rather travel to see him instead.
Kara will be traveling with Yolanda because she is skeptical of Williams being a catfish, and feels it is dangerous for her to go there alone.
While looking up flights, Yolanda realizes she isn’t sure which airport she would be flying in to, so she calls Williams.
He sounded like he had just woken up when he answered, and his voice sounded a little muffled, almost like maybe he was partially covering the phone for some reason.
He first tells her “London” and then quickly hangs up on her when she started asking him for the actual name of the airport.
He texted her a few seconds later that he planned on meeting her in London and then together they would take a train to Manchester. Yolanda questions why she can’t just fly directly to Manchester.
He changed his mind again and said he would meet her in Manchester.
Again, she asks him which airport, and he provided the name of an airport that doesn’t exist. She is frustrated and confused and tries to call him again, but he doesn’t pick up.
She tells Kara she will call him tomorrow to get more details.
You can tell by the look on Kara’s face that she is convinced Williams is not who he says he is and is frustrated that her mom doesn’t see the red flags.
Or – she does see the red flags but has chosen to ignore them.
The biggest red flag of all is that Williams won’t video chat with her. He claims the camera on his phone is broken. Likely story.
Doesn’t he have one friend or family member who has a phone with a working camera? Wouldn’t he do anything in his power to make a video call happen if he was really in love with her?
He also told her he is British but he does not have a British accent.
Will Yolanda ever book a flight to England and meet the man of her dreams in person? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
