90 Day Fiance fans are not thrilled with the way that Brandon Gibbs’ parents have been treating his fianceé Julia Trubkina since she moved in with them.
Brandon’s parents, Betty and Ron, have laid down some strict rules when it comes to Julia living under their roof.
However, the rule that seems to have fans up in arms the most is that Julia must work on the family farm for no pay.
Julia has been frustrated with her future in-laws and Brandon’s inability to stand up to them.
Fans took to Twitter to express their outrage.
“Julia did not come here to do farm chores. Leave her alone,” one fan stated bluntly.

Life on the farm
Julia certainly got quite a culture shock when she moved in with her fiancé, Brandon, in the family’s farmhouse.
Betty and Ron insisted that since Julia lives there, she has to pitch in and do chores on the farm.
Julia had never seen farm animals before, but that didn’t stop Betty from putting her to work. She also refused Julia tea or coffee as she walked around with a piping hot beverage.
The farm is a labor of love for Brandon’s parents as they do not make a profit from it.
Julia and Betty do not get along
Many fans think Julia got more than she bargained for when she moved in with Brandon when it comes to her future mother-in-law.
Not only has Betty been insistent about Julia helping out on the farm, but she has also been very determined to make sure that Julia does not get pregnant.
Betty consulted a gynecologist about getting Julia on birth control without her knowing about it.
Additionally, Betty and Ron are very insistent that Julia and Brandon are to sleep in separate rooms.
Julia pleaded with Brandon’s parents to let them stay in the same room, but they did not budge.
The two also feuded over Brandon and Julia’s wedding date.
Julia and Brandon announced during dinner that they planned on getting married on May 9. They specifically picked the ninth because that was the date Brandon told Julia he wanted to marry her.
Betty insisted that they change the date because it interfered with Mother’s Day weekend. Julia, however, refused to back down.
Brandon is seemingly caught between the two women in his life.
90 Day Fiance airs on Sundays at 8/7c on TLC.
