The TLC hit series first introduced Mike and Natalie in Season 7 of 90 Day Fiance, and they did not appear to have much in common.
Natalie is a vegetarian and Christian, while Mike is an unapologetic meat-eater that believes in aliens.
The Ukrainian reality TV star was also unimpressed by Mike’s lack of fitness.
Furthermore, their relationship continued to deteriorate due to a lack of chemistry, and the season culminated with Natalie giving Mike his engagement ring back.
Their drama followed them onto Season 8 of 90 Day Fiance when Natalie moved to America and expected to get her ring back but struggled to adapt to Mike’s smalltown home in Sequim, Washington.
Mike called off the wedding shortly before Natalie’s visa expired, but the couple married before the K-1 visa process ended.

A 90 Day Fiance viewer on Reddit spotted the controversial confederate flag in the background of Mike’s home as he sat with Natalie, who is cuddling a pet rat.
Redditors were quick to express their disdain for the couple, with the most popular comment concluding, “The rat has the most class in this picture, honestly.”

Most viewers concluded that they were ‘not surprised’ by the revelation, while many added it to their list of reasons to dislike the 90 Day Fiance star.
