On the latest episode of 90 Day Fiance, Jay Smith was caught up in a cheating scandal. The Jamaican hottie was busted talking to other women just one day after he married Ashley Martson in Las Vegas.
Many fans of the show are saying a big “I told you so” right now after questioning why Ashley would want to try to tie down someone like Jay, who is so much younger than her. Ashley did what she wanted, though, and now she and Jay are on the rocks with what looks like a breakup coming.
That said, what we’re watching on Season 6 of 90 Day Fiance right now was actually filmed months ago despite lining up with Ashley and Jay’s current social media story.
Ashley and Jay break up?
Those who follow the couple online have noted that recently it has really looked like the two are headed for Splitsville after Jay recently posted and then deleted a video of himself in a U-Haul moving truck as he pulled away from Ashley’s home in Pennsylvania.
It’s been a flurry of post-and-deletes lately as Jay also posted about how he was not the only one talking aka “cheating” with other people during the 90 Day Fiance couple’s very brief marriage.
Jay scrubs his Instagram
In the wake of the alleged split from Ashley, Jay scrubbed his Instagram account and left behind only 10 posts. The most recent two include Ashley’s image with one being from the Tell All taping when they posted with other 90 Day Fiance stars.

The newest picture on Jay’s Instagram is a wedding photo of himself and Ashley. In it, he left a message that is clearly meant for Ashley.
“I wanted to tell you that wherever I am, whatever happens, I’ll always think of you, and the time we spent together, as my happiest time,” Jay wrote. “I’d do it all over again, if I had the choice.”

Ashley also scrubs Instagram
Ashley Martson also cleaned up her Instagram, clearing away all traces of Jay. The only post with an image of the Jamaican tattoo artist is a screenshot of a GoFundMe that Ashley says she didn’t start.

Titled “Help Ashley send Jay’s cheating ass back to Jamaica,” this particular GoFundMe has gained a little attention but Ashley says she did not start it. Then she offers to share her Venmo with critics so they can donate money to her there.
The real Jay Smith GoFundMe
In the 90 Day Fiance world, GoFundMe accounts are nothing new. It’s no secret that the cast doesn’t get paid a lot to film and often need assistance because they just can’t cut it on their own, especially considering that those coming to the U.S. on a K-1 Visa can’t even work right away.
That said, now Jay Smith is stranded in Pennsylvania after he and Ashley’s apparent split so he apparently started his own GFM page in an effort to get back home (or wherever he plans to go now).
Jay’s GoFundMe was headlined “Help me get and my feet an a place to stay” and his fundraising goal is $5,000. After watching the cheating scandal play out on 90 Day Fiance, however, it doesn’t look like Jay has the sympathy of too many people.
After all, in less than 24 hours, the latest 90 Day Fiance GoFundMe had only collected a total of $45 but it has been shared more than 1,600 times!
Jay hasn’t mentioned the account on social media so it’s not clear what is really going on. 90 Day Fiance viewers have questioned the timing since the cheating reveal would have been made to Ashley months ago, way before this latest breakup and Instagram scrub.
Not to mention, Ashley and Jay were reportedly married in Jamaica before Season 6 even started. Then, they were shown tying the knot in Las Vegas on the show. It’s no secret that reality stars often try to line up their social media to reflect the reality TV drama in order to take things up a notch, and in this case it’s hard to tell if Ashley and Jay really split up or if this is all for ratings.
