Madison has made it clear that Allen is not her usual type, but did she go too far in the latest episode?
Allen spoke out on the MAFS Afterparty, reacting to their recent conversation.
The Married at First Sight star handled the situation like a true gentleman but admitted that there was one thing he found “offensive” during their talk.
The 35-year-old was joined by castmate Camille, who also came to his defense after seeing the clip.
Allen appeared on the show after Episode 6 of MAFS, Never Forget About Karla.
The episode showed the couples enjoying the final day of their honeymoon in Mexico, and there was an awkward moment between Allen and Madison.
MAFS fans have been dragging Madison on social media, but before we get to that, let’s hear what Allen had to say.
Allen calls out Madison’s ‘offensive’ comment on the MAFS Afterparty
Allen’s awkward conversation with Madison included her telling him about her lack of attraction for him and suggesting what he could do to change that.
She mentioned wanting a man who takes care of himself by frequently going to the gym.
The newlywed also pointed out her issues with his flamboyant style, telling Allen that she wouldn’t walk around looking a mess.
Allen discussed the scene on MAFS Afterparty and confessed that the conversation didn’t hurt him, but one comment struck a nerve.
“For somebody to offend me…to hurt me, it has to come from somewhere deep,” he shared. “I think the most offensive thing was ‘A guy that takes care of himself.'”
His castmate Camille was also a guest on MAFS Afterparty, and she reasoned that Madison’s delivery was harsh.
“Madison’s my girl but maybe there’s like a different way to put it, or keep out some of the ‘I want someone who takes care of themselves’ like you don’t,” she reasoned.
MAFS viewers drag Madison on social media
Meanwhile, Madison is getting dragged on social media over her treatment of Allen, and after the latest episode, X users had a lot to say.
“DAMN, Madison just called Allen unattractive, tacky, and out of shape. #mafs #MarriedAtFirstSight,” exclaimed a commenter.
Someone compared her to Michelle, who’s been dubbed a mean girl, writing, “Just throw Michelle & Madison in the superficial dumpster where they belong!! They don’t deserve this experience.”
“Madison is delusional,” an X user wrote. “Allen deserves much better. After the show, I believe Allen will get plenty of women showing interest in him. Madison will probably still be searching for ‘pretty boys’ 🙄.”
Someone else said, “Madison’s on the show for self-promotion and has no intention of staying married to Allen. He’s not her ‘pretty boy’ type, end of story.”
