Bravo executive Andy Cohen is opening up about Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Erika Jayne amid her legal woes. There’s been a lot of controversy surrounding Erika and her husband Tom Girardi as the two are facing several lawsuits regarding the alleged embezzlement of millions of dollars from victims over the past few years.
Erika has positioned that she knew nothing about the alleged illegal dealings of the now embattled attorney. However, the release of the recent Hulu documentary The Housewife and the Hustler has people questioning if Erika was really in the dark about what was going on in Tom’s law firm.
The RHOBH star hasn’t said anything since the release of the Hulu special but Andy Cohen recently had a word or two about it. And he also revealed if it will have an impact on Erika’s future on the show.
What about Erika Jayne’s future on RHOBH?
Andy Cohen addressed the much-talked-about documentary on his talk show, Radio Andy after a female fan called in with questions about the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star.
“Andy I’m just dying to know what you think about The Housewife and the Hustler and how this is going to affect Erika’s future on the show?” commented the caller.
“Well, I don’t think that documentary will affect her future on the show,” responded Andy. However, the caller noted that after seeing the documentary, she has a different take on Erika and may not even watch the Beverly Hills franchise anymore because of it.
“For me, it’s the first thing I ever saw as a viewer that made me not want to watch the show or watch her on the show, just because seeing her life of opulence, knowing that money was stolen money, made it a little bit icky,” the woman continued.
Andy Cohen is not impressed with documentary about Erika Jayne
After listening to the caller Andy gave his take on the documentary and it’s clear he wasn’t very impressed given some of the “experts” that were featured.
“Well, I will say the idea that Danielle Staub and Dana Wilkey are the experts in this documentary about Erika is questionable at best,” confessed the Watch What Happens Live host. “So, I kind of realized I wasn’t going to learn anything new from them about Erika.”
While Andy was not swayed by the information about the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star that was presented in the documentary, the commentary about her now estranged husband Tom Girardi was another story.
“The Tom Girardi stories continue to be deeply disturbing and we have to see how this plays out,” said Andy.
