Bachelor In Paradise star Ashley Iaconetti made an appearance during Monday night’s episode of The Bachelor, where she hosted a date for Matt James and the women.
This isn’t the first time that Ashley has made an appearance on a Bachelor show.
In fact, it is becoming a regular occurrence, making some fans wonder if she’s constantly on these shows because she’s looking for attention and clout.
And this week was no different.
As it turns out, fans wanted to inquire about Ashley’s presence on The Bachelor so they chose to ask Chris Harrison directly.

The response they received may not have been what they expected.
It all began when Chris Harrison posted a photo of himself with Ashley and Matt in anticipation of Monday’s episode.
“Well look who showed up to help @mattjames919 find love! For the record @ashley_iaconetti didn’t cry once in the making of this episode #TheBachelor,” he joked.

And that’s when the comments began.
“Poor thing so desperately needs to stay relevant, her podcast is obviously not enough,” one person wrote, to which Ashley replied, “@hedonisticnerd yeah I begged the producers to have me on!! They didn’t invite me or anything …”
And Chris Harrison even got involved, writing, “@hedonisticnerd hey Nicki suck it! We specifically asked my friend to be on the show and she was gracious enough to quarantine and join us! Go troll elsewhere por favor.”
It sounds like Chris is getting more involved in defending former Bachelor stars for participating in current seasons.

The reason why this one particular viewer is lashing out at Ashley could be that this is the second appearance over the past 12 months.
She was also on The Bachelorette with Clare Crawley and had to quarantine to appear on the show. She and Jared were spotted at the resort alongside other Bachelor stars, including Hannah Ann Sluss.
Ashley is also a vocal supporter of The Bachelor franchise. On her podcast, Almost Famous, Ashley and her co-host former Bachelor star Ben Higgins discuss common themes and issues in the Bachelor world.
She’s been a vocal activist to get Joe Park as the next Bachelor. He won over viewers on Tayshia Adams’ season, but she didn’t see the connection with him.
