Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon are engaged after he popped the question while the pair filmed scenes for the upcoming season of Bachelor In Paradise.
Some of the former Bachelor and Bachelorette stars are currently in Mexico, filming the newest season of the show. Since Ashley and Jared were just in Hawaii, it’s possible they traveled to Mexico to show the contestants that love is possible.
It’s not unheard of that these seasons begin with a proposal or a wedding to show the contestants that love is real. And despite fighting the romance in the beginning, Jared got down on one knee and proposed, according to E! News.
It was just a few months ago that Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon announced that they were dating. While some fans were not surprised that they gave the romance a shot, others were impressed that Jared had finally given in — meaning Ashley’s persistence (she has been trying to date Jared for years) had paid off.
After dating for a few months out of the spotlight, it sounds like Jared realized that they did have plenty of things in common and that Ashley would make a great life partner.
It was just a few days ago that Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon joked about having a baby. On Instagram, Ashley posted an ad but used the story of a possible baby.
Apparently, she gets bloated and posted a photo of her holding her tummy as if she’s pregnant. While she denied being pregnant, she revealed that she and Jared had named her stomach “my alien”.
If they’re able to joke about Ashley being pregnant, the idea of starting a family may well not be that far into the future.
