Bachelor Peter Weber and Madison Prewett were never really back together after he dumped Hannah Ann

The Bachelor star Peter Weber didn’t get the outcome on the show that he had wanted.

He wanted a wife when he was done with the show, and he got a single life in return.

Two women were left in the finale, but one chose to eliminate herself. She was the one he wanted.

Peter pursued Madison despite proposing to Hannah Ann during the finale, leaving two women hurt and his mother downright angry.

Now, we’re learning that Peter and Madison never really gave it a chance.

Peter and Madison were never really together

As it turns out, Peter and Madison never explored a romantic connection after appearing on The Bachelor finale together.

“Peter is single,” a show source has told PEOPLE Magazine after the finale wrapped last week. “He’s taking some time to figure out what he wants to do next.”

The source adds that “they were never really back together. They just realized they couldn’t make it work.”

While many viewers were rooting for them to get back together, it appeared that one person stood in their way — Peter’s mom.

Throughout the finale, she shared her opinions about the final two women, and she was clearly not fond of Madison.

Two days after the finale aired, Peter and Madison announced that they were no longer giving their relationship a chance.

While the two didn’t give a reason, many viewers expected that it was due to Peter’s mom, who was called the worst mother-in-law after the finale aired.

Barbara clearly favored Hannah Ann over the two women. She said Madison made her wait to meet her and didn’t apologize when she was three hours late.

Barbara also seemed upset that Madison wasn’t putting Peter first. In her defense, Madison kept pointing out that this was as much her journey as Peter’s journey.

“Madison is very saddened by everything that’s transpired,” a source has revealed about the situation. “She cares for Peter and wanted to work through their challenges. But it just got too difficult and seemed like everything was against them.”

Interestingly, Madison “feels badly if she ever unintentionally hurt the Weber family. Madi is trying to stay positive.”

It sounds like Peter and Madison will never get a fair chance at a relationship as long as Barbara has a say.
