The Bachelorette star Clare Crawley decided to go back on the show to find love.
Clare has a history with The Bachelor franchise as she’s tried to find love several times on national television.
Besides her role as the lead Bachelorette, she also made it to the finale on The Bachelor with Juan Pablo Galavis, made appearances on Bachelor In Paradise, and even starred on The Bachelor: Winter Games.
In other words, viewers know Clare as someone who wants to find everlasting love — and she hasn’t found it within the franchise despite many attempts.
Now, Clare is opening up about her life outside of The Bachelorette.
Clare Crawley reveals she’s not just about finding love
Clare and a friend recently went on a road trip, where Clare allowed fans to ask her some questions she could answer.
One fan asked her to name the biggest misconception about her after all her time within The Bachelor franchise.
“I think people’s biggest misconception of me is that they think I’m just hyper-focused on finding love, and I think that’s such a small portion of who I am,” Clare revealed when asked to identify the biggest misconception about her, as reported by US Weekly.
“That’s how you guys know me, but that’s not what my life is about. There’s so much more to my life than that.”
Fans may know that Clare works as a hairstylist in Sacramento. She loves taking care of herself and her health, she has a strong relationship with her mother, and she’s a dog lover.
During her time on The Bachelorette, Clare kept talking about how she wanted to find a husband and have children, so it makes sense that fans have that understanding of her.
When asked if she wanted to start over with her life or continue with the one she had, she didn’t hesitate.
“Definitely continue with my life,” Clare explained. “I’ve worked hard for this life, man. I’m proud of it.”
Clare Crawley could have been used by Dale Moss
Even though Clare wanted to find love on The Bachelorette, it didn’t work out with Dale Moss. The two got engaged and stayed together for about six months before the relationship ended.
After their split, fans guessed that Dale might have gone on the show to get some fame and attention and hadn’t expected to win the season, let alone get engaged.
Rachel Lindsay believed that Dale had used Clare, especially since they were spotted together in February in Florida.
She seemed convinced that Dale had planned to go on the show with a specific motive in mind, used Clare knowing that she wanted marriage and kids, and broke things off when things got too serious.
Over the Christmas holidays, Clare and Dale joked about making babies, so Dale was well-aware that she wanted children. Clare also mentioned it in their follow-up interview with Chris Harrison.
The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
