Did Bachelor nation get the breakup of Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian wrong?

The shock breakup of the historic Bachelor in Paradise couple left fans searching for clues everywhere as to where it all went wrong.
However, according to their castmate Demi Burnett, the truth still hasn’t come out.
Demi Burnett tells fans to take a second look at the Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian breakup
“Yall got the Maurissa and Riley break up SO WRONG,” Demi tweeted out to her fans.
Fans and followers then jumped in to speculate what she was referring to and to accuse The Bachelor alum of stirring the pot for attention.
“I want attention?? NO I’m mad at the BS being portrayed!” A frustrated Demi tweeted back. “I don’t want to talk about it bc it’s stressful and not my business to tell! BUT LOOK DEEPER LISTEN TO UR INTUITION.”
Even more telling is the fact that Maurissa liked both of Demi’s tweets regarding the breakup.
Although both Maurissa and Riley have remained tight-lipped on the reasoning behind their split, fans have been reading into tweets and social media posts liked by Maurissa in the weeks following.
Maurissa also recently liked a tweet by The Bachelor’s Kelley Flanagan, reading, “When you learn that person’s behavior has more to do with their own internal struggle than it ever did with you…You learn Grace.”
Demi Burnett is accused of stirring the pot in her tweets about Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian’s split
Given that details of the split have been few and far between, fans aren’t quite sure what to make of Demi’s new insight. Several commenters even accused her of exaggerating how much she knows.
“I’m not really sure that Riley or Maurissa confided in you about their break up and if they’re not talking about it then nobody should be talking about it,” one of the most popular replies read. “Bachelor alums need to move on the coat tails aren’t long enough to keep hanging onto IMO only”
“Then why bring it up in the first place?” another wrote. “You know it’s obviously peaked everyone’s interest. This should’ve been brought up with Maurissa or Riley – it’s their business, not yours to air out with no other info.”
Others were intrigued, however, and begged for more.
“You can’t tweet this and not explain. Spill the tea sis,” a fan responded.

Natasha Parker, another fellow castmate, recently opened up about the split, saying she’d heard the couple had very different lives and couldn’t make it work. She also revealed that Maurissa had given her all to the relationship.
Maurissa and Riley cited needing to work on themselves as a major reason behind the split. Both are sticking to this goal, with Riley starting his own law firm and Maurissa opening up about her struggles with social anxiety.
It appears the drama isn’t over yet, however, as new details continue to emerge.
