Evan Goldschnieder is the hunky new “househusband” on Real Housewives of New Jersey. However, we know very little about him except that he’s married to the newest cast member, Jackie Goldschnieder.
The couple met in 2003 and got married in 2006. They have two sets of twins — 11-year-old boys Adin and Jonas, along with 9-year-olds, Alexis and Hudson.
Evan is an entrepreneur in the financial services industry
He has a background in institutional sales and investments. He attended the University of Michigan, where he acquired a Bachelor’s degree in economics, then received an MBA in finance at the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.
Evan kicked off his career at JP Morgan Chase.
He spent two years of his career as an associate at the prestigious firm, then another two years as the vice president of the RiskMetrics Group.
By 2016, Goldschneider was on the move again, this time at Olympia Capital Management in the capacity of senior vice president.
He was responsible for sourcing new hedge fund investment ideas and rigorous strategy and risk management analysis.
He remained at Olympia for over five years before moving on to Merrill Lynch as director.
After exiting Merrill Lynch in 2012, Goldschneider and his partners founded the Hawthorn Lane Capital Group based in New York.
The alternative investment advisory firm has been in existence for three years
These days, Evan balances his life as a financial head honcho with being a dad, husband, and cast member on the popular New Jersey reality show.
Fans have certainly taken a liking to the handsome, laid back Evan.
His wife, Jackie, is still smitten with him as well. She spoke about their relationship during an interview with The Daily Dish.
When asked what she would want her kids to take away from their marriage, she had this to say.
“Evan and I work really hard to make sure that our kids see a very healthy relationship. I hope that they take away that you deserve to be with somebody that loves and respects you. But also, that even if you do love your partner so much, you’re still entitled to your own time.”
She also dished about what she loves most about Evan saying, “he’s so supportive. He really is the best! He’s like, always there when you need him. There’s never a time where I’ve called Evan — we could even be in a big fight — and if I call him and I need him, he’ll drop everything. He’s really always there for me, no matter what.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey just wrapped its latest season and reunion so it might be a while before we see Jackie and Evan back on our screens.
But in the meantime, you can catch up on all the past episodes on the Bravo app.
