Dancing with the Stars brings celebrities from all walks of life to see if they can succeed at ballroom dancing.
From actors and singers to professional athletes and Olympians, the show has given everyone a chance to prove themselves on the ballroom dance floor.
However, not everyone can show talent when it comes to choreography and timing.
While some celebs remain oblivious about how bad they looked on the dance floor, others are open with the idea that they realized appearing on Dancing with the Stars was a mistake.
Kim Kardashian regrets appearing on Dancing with the Stars
Kim Kardashian was back on TV with The Kardashians on Hulu, and she took some time to talk about her experience on Dancing with the Stars.
Kim was part of Dancing with the Stars’ seventh season, and she partnered with Mark Ballas in 2008.
Mark Ballas was a fan favorite as a professional dancer, and he was able to have success with actor Candace Cameron Bure and Olympian Aly Raisman.
However, when he teamed with Kim, it was a disappointment.
Kim said she wasn’t surprised and didn’t even want to do the show to begin with before being talked into it.
Kim talked about going on Saturday Night Live because everyone told her it would be a cool experience. She said she was fulfilling other people’s dreams, like her mother, Kris Jenner.
It was similar, she said, to Dancing with the Stars.
“I don’t know why I did ‘Dancing With the Stars.’ I suck,” Kim said. “Absolutely sucked. That’s just so not me. If you know me, like, it’s not me.”
While they talked about it, Kris admitted that Kim was much better on Saturday Night Live than on Dancing with the Stars.
“You’re more funny than you can dance, so just look at it on the bright side,” Kris said.
Mark Ballas didn’t enjoy dancing with Kim either
Mark Ballas was not a fan of working with Kim Kardashian either, although he liked her as a person.
“She wasn’t the best dancing partner. I love her; she’s awesome, we became good friends. I know the family well. Dancing was not her thing, but she’s a great girl,” Ballas said back in 2014.
Mark won two Mirrorball trophies, once with Kristi Yamaguchi and one with Shawn Johnson.
Dancing with the Stars is on hiatus. The dancing reality competition series will return in late 2022 to its new home on Disney+ streaming.
