The Challenge star Georgia Harrison recently shared several statements in the wake of ex-boyfriend and fellow Challenge star Stephen Bear’s arrest and release on bail.
Harrison, who alleged that Bear secretly recorded her and then posted the footage online, shared a statement regarding the ongoing situation while thanking everyone for their recent support.
In addition, she is asking fans not to troll a young woman with whom Bear was recently seen with who is said to be his girlfriend.
Georgia shares statement online
Georgia Harrison, who has appeared on Love Island UK and MTV’s The Challenge, posted on her Instagram Story on Monday to thank everyone for their recent support.
“Thank you to everyone that has reached out over the last few days. At this time I am unable to comment on the recent events due to the ongoing criminal investigation,” she wrote on the IG Story slide.
She also said she is “passionate about supporting victims of revenge porn” and hopes that by her coming forward, others will have the courage to do the same.
Georgia mentions she has a fantastic team around her for support that is helping her to “stay positive” during the ongoing situation.
Georgia’s statement comes after her ex-boyfriend, Stephen Bear, was arrested this past Friday at Heathrow Airport in London, as he returned to the UK from Dubai.
Georgia previously made allegations that Bear recorded her without consent while they were together and then shared it online.
Bear was released on bail following his arrest before being seen out and about with a “mystery woman,” now reported to be Bear’s off-and-on girlfriend Tia McAlister.
The pair were seen emerging from Bear’s home and making a trip to a Marks & Spencer store, with Bear breaking the UK’s COVID-19 quarantine rules to do so.
Georgia asks fans to stop trolling, hateful comments
In a separate message shared on her Twitter and then to her Instagram Story, Georgia asked people not to harass 18-year-old Tia.
“Please all refrain from trolling the young girl in question ? the only thing she deserves is your prayers, i don’t like or encourage hateful comments and tweets even in my support,” Georgia tweeted on Monday.
Georgia last appeared on MTV’s The Challenge: War of the Worlds 2 in 2019, after originally debuting on War of the Worlds, which aired that same year. She and Stephen Bear previously dated, and some of their relationship struggles were featured on MTV’s reality competition series during those two seasons.
The Challenge: Double Agents airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on MTV.
