Jedidiah Duggar is back home with Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar.

He was living with his twin brother, Jeremiah in a home that was featured on Counting On.

The brothers appeared to be happy in their place, even revealing they shared a room because they are twins.

Now, it looks like both may be under their parents’ roof once again.

Moving back home

According to The Sun, Jedidiah Duggar is back at the Duggar compound. The home, which he once shared with Jeremiah Duggar, was listed for rent again last month.

This news comes following his loss in the bid for the Arkansas State Representative seat for District 89. He garnered just 43 percent of the vote against his Democratic challenger, Megan Godfrey.

With a loss in the books, it looks like Jedidiah wanted to move back home. In order to run for the race, he had to live in the district he was trying to represent. Speculation is that he moved into that house so that he could be able to run for that seat without an issue.

It wasn’t made clear if Jeremiah went back home with his twin brother, but given that the house was put back up for rent, it is the likely assumption. Neither Duggar boy has announced a courtship, though Jessa Duggar did tease Jedidiah about painting a pumpkin for his sweetheart when the Fall Festival video was shared.

What’s next for Jedidiah Duggar?

At this point, what Jedidiah’s future holds remains to be seen. Being back at home opens up the potential to save more money, and possibly enter a courtship.

He hasn’t been super active on social media, but that is likely because his Instagram account was made to help garner support while he was running for office. Now that he has lost the race and had a few months to process, it is time for him to begin building a life for himself.

A new season of Counting On is being filmed but a timeline has not been given yet. Last year, the show filmed over the holidays and into the beginning part of 2020. If things follow suit, filming should be wrapping in the coming weeks.

With news that Justin Duggar and Claire Spivey are tying the knot in April, it will likely be after that before the Duggars are back with the show. Jedidiah may have filmed while he was still in the race, which would be interesting for viewers to see.

For now, it looks like Jedidiah and Jeremiah Duggar are back home with their parents and all of the other unmarried siblings.

Counting On is currently on hiatus.
