Jill Duggar celebrated the upcoming arrival of her baby boy.
She is nearing her due date, and her friends and family showered her with love and gifts over the weekend.
The Counting On star has been honest about where she stands with her family, and it looks like it was made even clearer with who did and didn’t show up.
Jill Duggar thanks family for helping with the shower
Over on the Dillard Family Facebook page, Jill Duggar shared some photos of her baby shower.
The soon-to-be-mom-of-three was glowing as she posed next to food and showed off some of the cute outfits baby boy Dillard received from the shower attendees.
She wrote, “I feel so loved and more prepared now for baby boy with all the gifts, prayers & blessings by friends and family (+ several who couldn’t attend the party in person) who showered us this weekend in anticipation of our little man’s arrival next month! Special thanks to the hosts: my MIL Cathy Dillard Byrum my SIL Deena Dillard my cousin Amy Rachelle King & my Aunt Deanna Duggar”
Did any Duggar family members show up for Jill Duggar?
While the photos on Facebook didn’t show any of the guests in attendance, none of the Duggar sisters posted pictures from the shower over the weekend.
Anna Duggar wasn’t in attendance for sure as she broke her silence on her birthday and revealed she was going to see her “best friend.” She likely meant Josh, as he was transferred out of Arkansas on June 24.
The situation between Jill and her family isn’t good. She has talked about the rift publicly, as she and Derick Dillard did several YouTube videos with questions from fans about her relationship with Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. Jill also admitted that some of her siblings weren’t too happy with her choices either.
Derick recently took a new job, which caused the couple to move closer to the Arkansas/Oklahoma border. He passed the bar earlier this year, and the family is well on their way to reaching their dreams.
Jill and Derick announced they were expecting another baby earlier this year, just a few months after suffering a miscarriage. They are almost to the due date and will welcome another baby boy.
Jill Duggar may not have had the support from her close family members, but Derick Dillard’s mom and sister-in-law showed up alongside Amy Duggar King and Deanna Duggar to make her feel special.
