Jill Duggar shared a new photo of herself with her husband, Derick Dillard. His mustache was one of the first things noticed in the updated visual of the two.
Counting On fans have seen Derick wear a full beard and mustache and also have a completely clean-shaven face. Since coming back to Arkansas from their mission work in Central America, he’s spent most of his time clean-shaven.
Is the facial hair making a comeback?
Facial hair appears to be a hot topic among Duggar fans. Derick Dillard has had a full beard and mustache at times, Ben Seewald also rocked the look, and most recently, Duggar fans noticed Jeremy Vuolo rocking a full beard as well.
A Counting On fan noticed that Derick Dillard was growing a mustache again. Jill Duggar responded to the comment, noting that she agreed to “let” Derick grow it a little bit. That means that fans should not expect a full face of hair from him any time soon. For now, there will be a bit of a mustache, though.
The photo shared by Jill was one of the most recent the two have together. Derick has been busy with law school, and she has been working on keeping the boys occupied while he finishes homework and studies. Sharing an updated photo was a nice change of pace for the couple.
Derick may be doing a tell-all
Over the last few weeks, there’s been discussion about a tell-all book that could blow the Duggars out of the water. Jill Duggar is reportedly trying to remain neutral in the situation, though she would prefer if her husband didn’t release the book.
He has been outspoken about what has happened within the family. Derick gave an interview to Katie Joy from Without a Crystal Ball, revealing that they are no longer affiliated with the IBLP. From there, more revelations have been made about what Derick and Jill believe in.
Showing a united front with her husband is important to Jill Duggar. She was raised to believe that the man leads the family and the wife follows his lead. While this situation is unique, it is reportedly weighing heavily on Jill.
While Derick Dillard and Jill Duggar are no longer a part of Counting On, their fan base remains loyal in following them on social media. Their updates are just a small glimpse into their lives.
Counting On is currently on hiatus, but it is expected to return to TLC later this year.
