Kailyn Lowry and Chris Lopez have been on and off for three years. Initially, he was kept hidden from the spotlight, refusing to appear on Teen Mom 2. It was revealed that Lopez was the father of Lowry’s son Lux, and from there, things became more complicated.
The Teen Mom 2 star has been upfront about her feeling for Chris on multiple occasions. He is the one she feels the most for when it comes to the fathers of her children, and at one point, she even said he was the one who got away.
What happened between Kailyn and Chris on Teen Mom 2?
On the most recent episode of Teen Mom 2, Kailyn Lowry revealed that Chris Lopez had mistakenly sent her a text that was meant for his ex-girlfriend when she was talking to her best friend. While the contents of the text weren’t revealed, she mentioned Chris was trying to hang out with her.
He did show up for Lincoln’s birthday but his face was still blurred out. At this point, Teen Mom 2 viewers already know what Chris Lopez looks like, so he is sticking to his guns about not appearing on the show.
Are Chris Lopez and Kailyn Lowry back together?
It looks like the two may still be back and forth with their relationship. Lincoln’s birthday was back in November, and since then, there haven’t been many updates about where Kailyn Lowry and Chris Lopez stand.
While at the birthday party, when Kailyn was talking to Heather (his aunt) about Chris, it was revealed that he loves her. Of course, that was shocking to hear given he had texted his ex-girlfriend wanting to hang out.
Their relationship is back and forth and the commitment issues aren’t helping the situation. Kailyn Lowry admitted that their answers about whether they are together or not depend on who is asking, but she wasn’t comfortable saying they were together while the show filmed. Unfortunately, it looks like Chris Lopez is keeping things in a state of limbo.
