Bachelor Nation has been trying to figure out just what went wrong between Michelle Young and Nayte Olukoya.
After their public announcement that they had split, fans started to speculate where their relationship took a turn for the worst.
While Michelle left for Iceland with a couple of her closest girlfriends, Nayte posted some thirst trap photos and a bulleted post about how he never cheated on Michelle.
Since then, Nayte and fellow Bachelor alum, Deandra Kanu, has seemed to be linked together allegedly; however, a source close to Nayte recently came out and said they are not an item.
While Michelle herself hinted that she did not see the break-up coming, and was devastated by it, it appears as if someone has talked to Michelle and is speaking out on what she thinks happened.
Kaitlyn Bristowe, former co-host alongside Tayshia Adams, for Michelle’s season of The Bachelorette has spoken to Michelle, and she has her own thoughts on what happened between the couple.
Kaitlyn Bristowe speaks out about Michelle Young and Nayte Olukoya split
During her podcast Off the Vine, Kaitlyn told viewers that she had talked to Michelle about the break-up. She reiterated, “I don’t want to speak for Michelle because it’s her story and it’s his story and whatever, but I’ve obviously talked to her and I’m there for her, of course.”
Kaitlyn filled in fans and let them know, “I was there for her through her whole experience,” talking about her Bachelorette journey and after.
She went on to say that Michelle was one hundred percent blindsided by Nayte breaking off their relationship shortly after her birthday. Kaitlyn claimed that Michelle had no idea what had just happened.
Michelle Young’s take on the break-up
Earlier in the month, Michelle had also come out and hinted to fans that she was blindsided by the break-up. However, she didn’t give many more details than that on what exactly happened.
Kaitlyn also claimed, “I don’t know this for a fact – it’s just in my opinion. I’m like, ‘Did he just, like, like the attention? Or did he find someone else? Because it did feel abrupt.’”
Regardless of what happened, Bachelor Nation alums and fans have been showing up for Michelle and really feel for her during this difficult time in her life.
She had just decided not to go back into the teaching profession, too, so a lot of changes have been happening in her life.
Nayte, meanwhile, has relocated from Texas to Los Angeles and is living with his buddy and fellow Bachelor alum, Rodney Mathews.
