Kameron Westcott is talking about her relationship with Real Housewives of Dallas alum, LeeAnne Locken.
And it seems things are just fine between the two friends despite the Season 4 drama.
LeeAnne and Kameron’s friendship was tested after the pink princess started to form a bond with Kary Brittingham.
And when the OG made disparaging comments about Brittingham she got called out by her castmates, including Kameron.
LeeAnne eventually left the show, but her friendship with Kameron is still going strong.
Kameron and LeeAnne are in a great place
The Real Housewives of Dallas star recently had a chat on the #NoFilter with Zach Peter podcast.
And after LeeAnne Locken was put in the hot seat during the reunion, Peter questioned where Kameron and LeeAnne’s friendship stands today.
“Yeah, we’re in a great place. Really really great place,” responded Westcott.
“…after the reunion, she was upset with me. At the same time though, like I’m always gonna be honest and open to her about my opinion. And I didn’t agree with what happened last year with her, absolutely not, she knows that and she fully accepted that and learned from it,” continued the 38-year-old.
Despite reprimanding the Bravo alum for her comments last season, things are still going well with the two friends.
“We’re in an amazing place because we are true girlfriends and I will share those memories with her so it’s exciting that we’re still friends,” added the blond beauty.
Kameron wanted to quit after Season 4 reunion
During the interview, Kameron also dished about the intense Season 4 reunion, where Locken was put in the hot seat.
After tons of backlash from fans regarding her comments about Kary Brittingham, the 53-year-old had a lot of explaining to do.
But it wasn’t just viewers who were shocked by Locken’s comments, her castmates all made it clear that her comments were unacceptable.
And while it led to LeeAnne’s exit from the show, it caused Westcott to consider leaving as well.
“Yeah actually two weeks after reunion if you’d asked me I would have been like ‘ugh I’m done, I’m done, I cannot stand these women,'” said the RHOD star.
She explained, “Because for me it just… was shocking that some of the things that were coming up. And obviously, I’m not gonna go into detail but it just, it hurt me because… I truly, truly had a really amazing relationship with LeeAnne, and I know she made mistakes and I know everyone makes mistakes.”
“But it hurt me that she was getting, you know, picked on so much. And I’m not saying her actions were okay whatever, I just don’t like to see anyone being… in that situation…” shared Kameron.
