It’s another boy for the Duggar family! Kendra Caldwell and Joseph Duggar welcomed their first child together yesterday.
Garrett David Duggar was born June 8 and weighed in at just under eight pounds according to People. Both Kendra Caldwell and baby are doing well and the delivery was said to be smooth.
Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell became engaged on May 26, 2017. He popped the question to her at the wedding reception for Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth. They had given her brother the blessing to ask for Kendra’s hand in marriage and it all went off without a hitch.
The two were married in September 2017 and immediately fell pregnant. While Kendra Caldwell wasn’t officially due for another week, baby Garrett was determined to be born on a Friday, the same day of the week his parents were married.

Holding on to tradition, the entire Duggar family has offered up congratulations on the birth of the newest member of the clan. 2018 has seen all boy grandchildren for Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. Jinger Duggar is expecting and due in about six weeks with a little girl.
