Love Island USA winner Caleb Corprew has responded to death threats after the news of his breakup with Justine Ndiba.
The fan-favorite couple announced last week they had called it quits. Justine and Caleb’s split news came hot on the heels of runner-up duo Johnny Middlebrooks and Cely Vazquez ending their relationship too.
Both couples gained reality TV fame on Season 2 of Love Island USA. In light of his breakup with Justine, Caleb has quickly learned that even 15 minutes of fame comes with a price.
Caleb has received death threats
Despite wanting to maintain a certain level of privacy amid his split, Caleb used Instagram to get real about the death threats he has recently received.
“What a strange feeling it is to wake up to death threats,” Caleb wrote. “It is simply impossible to fully capture the complexity of one’s identity or character through a screen. Not through a couple feed posts each week or stories on your phone screen. Not even through an hour a day five days a week for a month on your TV screen.”
The newly single hunk also reiterated that he is a private person. Something Love Island fans find a bit interesting since Caleb did appear on a reality TV show looking for the one.
Not letting the negativity take over
Caleb revealed attacks on his character have occurred since the day he walked into the Love Island villa.
Instead of clapping back or being equally hateful, Caleb continues to ignore the trolls. He wants to solely focus on the thing in life that brings him fulfillment.
“Of course, generally speaking I will avoid overexposure to negativity, but I also understand that naturally, I will come across it. To the hate I encounter. I will process, reflect, and think to myself, ‘What can I learn from this?’ Like I try to do with all things I experience in life,” Caleb shared.

There has been speculation among Love Island fans that Caleb cheated on Justine, which was the reason for their split. Those rumors are also likely the reason the haters have come at Caleb with death threats. Fans love Justine.
Neither Caleb nor Justine alluded to any wrongdoing or infidelity in their split announcement. So, at this point, the cheating rumors are simply that, rumors.
The streets are saying Caleb got a side in France but it look like she resides in his sheets.
