Love Island USA Season 3 is in full swing, with the first recoupling leaving viewers dishing about which couples are the real deal and which ones are doomed.
There was a lot of drama heading in the first recoupling ceremony. First, Jeremy Hershberg put his partner, Trina Njoroge, in the friend zone after his date with newbie Aimee Flores.
Then Aimee found herself in the middle of some Shannon St Claire and Josh Goldstein drama. At the Babewatch Challenge, Josh kissed Aimee instead of his partner Shannon.
The kiss prompted Shannon to inform Josh that she couldn’t trust him, making him sweat it out at the recoupling ceremony. Shannon did end up picking Josh, while Aimee chose Jeremy and Trina decided to give Korey Gandy a chance.
Ahead of three new ladies and one new guy coming into the villa, let’s examine which couples may go the distance and who probably won’t survive the next recoupling ceremony.
Which couples are doomed on Love Island USA Season 3?
Javonny Vega and Olivia Kaiser are at the top of the doomed list. It was a surprise she picked him over Christian Longnecker, who Olivia seemed to be connecting within the villa. Olivia and Javonny don’t have any chemistry at all, nor do they seem to be that into each other.
Korey and Trina also make the doomed cut. Trina only picked him because her options were limited. She wasn’t choosing Josh or Christian. Plus, her speech at the ceremony gave off friendship vibes, not I am into you vibes. Korey’s probably going to be friend-zoned the second the new guys enter the picture.
Josh and Shannon are the last on the doomed list. Shannon brought out the crazy, which has many viewers comparing her to Season 2 alum Mackenzie Dipman. The only reason Josh made up with her was so that he didn’t go home. These two will be entertaining with their drama, that’s for sure.
Which Love Island USA Season 3 couples are the real deal?
Let’s be clear, when labeling these couples the real deal, it simply means these guys will last longer than the other couples. It doesn’t mean they are happily ever after bound.
Melvin “Cinco” Holland, Jr. and Cashay Proudfoot are bringing the heat. They have chemistry for sure. Plus, neither of them has eyes on anyone else in the villa, at least until the new recruits arrive.
Will Moncada and Kyra Lizama seem pretty rock solid. He wasn’t even swayed by Aimee and let Kyra know she was the only one on his mind. The sparks are flying with these two.
Jeremy and Aimee make the cut too. Yes, they just got together, but they have good chemistry.
