Another season of Married at First Sight is on the horizon and we couldn’t be happier to move on from the disastrous Denver season.

They’re bringing the show back to Chicago with a new batch of hopefuls ready to trust the process and have the experts find their perfect match.

That certainly didn’t happen in Season 17, but we’re crossing our fingers that the Chicago cast will reignite our hope in the eight-week marital experiment.

This is not the first time that The Windy City has been the backdrop for the popular lifetime time show, Season 5 was also filmed in Chicago, Illinois.

It aired in 2017, and of the three couples featured that season, one has a successful marriage to show for it.

That’s the season that gave us Ashley Petta and her husband Anthony D’Amico. They have been married for over seven years and have two adorable kids.

Check out the MAFS Season 18 trailer

The Season 18 trailer is out and we’re keeping our fingers crossed that the Chicago cast will deliver a great season.

Chicago is the hometown of Expert Dr. Pia Holec and in the teaser, she proudly introduces Pastor Cal and Dr. Pepper Schwartz to her city.

“Chicago is a great place to find love,” she tells them.

The clip shows some tense moments with the nervous brides and grooms before they walk down the aisle, even teasing another runaway bride situation.

“Would it be the end of the world if I literally didn’t do this?” questions a nervous bride.

“I really don’t know if I can do this,” she says.

The clip shows a bride walking out of the church as someone questions, “Is she running away?”

Meanwhile, if you want to see the Chicago couples check out this Season 18 spoiler from Monsters and Critics.

The “experts” should re do the program . Men and women should be able to see the opposite sex behind a mirror as questions are given to them. 3 or more. Then THEY can decide who to be matched with. Good times, dates group gatherings etc…fine. But no marriage. This makes a mockery of a very important day. Sleeping with a stranger on TV was not a good programming idea. They could live in adjacent apartments and share with others. This is very difficult emotionally for the young people.

This scenario would not be the title of the show MAFS. The process is interesting and successful with those who are committed to giving it a good try. Somehow applicants should be vetted they are not there to promote their business or name. Surely there are questions that could reveal that in that lengthy questionnaire they fill out or when they are in a face to face interview. If someone is gay match them with a gay.

Why can’t viewers choose some of the couples… Do an American viewers versus the Experts. Viewers couldn’t do any worse in my opinion

If the new couples all live in the same apartment complex, the stink of Season 17 will haunt Chicago like the Ghost of Denver Past.

they should not be grouped together. they start feeding off each other. you go on a honeymoon alone not with 4 other couples. in fact there should be no interaction at all with the other couples, but then again that would be a different show

Becca was the ringleader from the beginning. I thought it said she was a therapist, hummm!
Emily was immature and desperate. She could have left when Brennan showed her no affection.
I wish that Becca would of hung out with Chloe. Maybe her and her hubby could of had a chance if all the BS Claire and Emily brought didn’t get in her head. So high school!
Chole was the only mature person in the show.
Em, get a good therapist, not Claire, and boys you should have spoken up sooner.
