Married at First Sight Season 14 saw the couples go on a getaway retreat.
Historically, the couples’ retreat episodes often provide explosive drama, and this season Lindsey Georgoulis was at the center of a lot of the conflict.
MAFS viewers were appalled by Lindsey’s aggressive behavior during the retreat, and they flocked to social media to call Lindsey out for seemingly having unfair double standards.
MAFS viewers critique Lindsey Georgoulis’ hypocrisy
Lindsey Georgoulis and Mark Maher’s marriage has gotten progressively rockier as the season goes on.
During the retreat, Lindsey took offense when Mark suggested that she was very hyper and confronted Mark for seemingly trying to put her down. Mark apologized, although he felt Lindsey was making everything about herself again.
Interestingly, the tables turned during a game night with the rest of the couples’ when Lindsey threw several hurtful digs about Mark regarding their sex life and Mark’s ability to provide.
MAFS viewers were fed up with Lindsey’s comments and felt she was being hypocritical since she was so upset by Mark’s “joke,” yet her jokes about him were publicly embarrassing and even more below the belt.
One tweet featured a photo of Lindsey as the commenter wrote, “If ‘I can dish it, but I can’t take it’ was a person. Smh.”
Another critic wrote, “Lindsey’s emotional instability and lack of self awareness is dangerous.”
A viewer pointed out the irony in Lindsey’s behavior, writing, “Lindsey is complaining that Mark is taking digs at her…like we haven’t watched her for the eleventeenth time call him broke & homeless in different ways.”
One critic felt disgusted by Lindsey, writing, “This behavior is why Mark is repulsed by her. Such a turn off.”
Another viewer urged Mark to run far away from Lindsey, tweeting, “What in the hell is this woman talking about? Mark run baby just RUN for all of our sanity.”

Mark wasn’t the only one Lindsey clashed with during the retreat. During the couple’s game night, Lindsey became upset when all the couples’ suggested she was the most likely to start a fight.
Lindsey went on a rant about how she doesn’t care what any of her costars think, but MAFS viewers felt Lindsey’s combative behavior during the game was a clear sign of her insecurities.
A MAFS fan wrote, “Lindsey sweetie you’re showing you’re insecurities…everything you’ve said the last 5 minutes have been disrespectful.”
Another critic wrote, “How can Lindsey be upset at the couples answers about her, when what they’re saying about her is the truth, and her little speech sealed the truth about her.”
One MAFS viewer captured Lindsey’s mentality, writing, “It’s all fun and games until the joke’s on me.”
A commenter tweeted, “Lindsey humiliating Mark in front of everyone and then attacking the other couples is just WRONG!!”
Finally, a viewer expressed, “Lindsey thinks she’s embarrassing Mark but she’s really embarrassing herself.”

Lindsay can’t handle her alcohol and is a self absorbed brat
She is clearly bipolar. Her hysterical laughing and the emotional crashes. She needs medication to level her out to some sort of normalcy.
Lindsey not only is insecure, she drinks too much which makes her more confrontational with Mark. You’ll never win an argument with an alcohol abuser, and master manipulator!
Why are the “Experts” not calling her out?
