Married at First Sight fan favorites Woody Randall and Amani Aliyya are ready to share their views on the Boston couples, and the outspoken pair did not hold back.
The Season 12 alums rank among the show’s success stories and not only are they still happily married after saying “yes” on Decision Day, but the lovebirds are now expecting their first child.
Woody and Amani have been keeping up with the current season and gave their feedback following the latest episode.
Last night a lot went down during the couple’s retreat and with only two weeks before Decision Day, the cast members have very little time left to get their act together.
Woody and Amani have seen ‘growth’ in Jasmina and Michael’s relationship
The Married at First Sight alums dished on the current crop of hopefuls starting with Jasmina and Michael, who’ve come a long way this season.
“We really enjoyed seeing the growth between Jasmina and Mike in this episode!” noted the Season 12 duo during their recap for PEOPLE. “They had a great car ride to the couple’s retreat and we believe that set the tone for their experience together.”
However, Woody and Amani think that the pair is “hung up on the ending being eight weeks instead of the fact that they are married and can continue to grow with each other.”
The duo also commented on Lindsey and Mark’s “rollercoaster of emotions” during their time on the retreat.
Things started well but quickly took a turn for the worse with Lindsey ending up in urgent care the next day. However, Woody and Amani applauded Mark for being there for her at that moment despite missing other opportunities to do so.
“Hopefully, this weekend will be a wake-up call for this couple,” they added.
The Season 12 alums are ‘hoping for the best’ with Katina and Olajuwon
The Married at First Sight alums also dished on Noi and Steve, who were the frontrunners with viewers a few weeks ago but people have recently grown frustrated with Noi.
They’ve had some hiccups, the most recent being Noi’s actions of airing their dirty laundry on social media.
While the couple tried to hash it out the week prior, they still haven’t been able to smooth things over and move past it.
“We hope they are able to move past this in their marriage and focus on growing together,” noted Amani and Woody.
As for Katina and Olajuwon, the duo noted a “disconnect between the two of them.”
“We feel like they describe their relationship very differently than it is viewed,” said Woody and Amani. “We’re hoping for the best for this couple!”
Married at First Sight airs on Wednesdays at 8/7c on Lifetime.
