Are Mauricio Umansky and Emma Slater more than just partners on Dancing with the Stars?

The news comes after months of rumors and reports about Mauricio and his estranged wife, Kyle Richards.
The marriage drama, which will start playing out on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills when the Bravo hit returns later this month, nearly derailed his time on Dancing with the Stars.
An explosive RHOBH trailer dropped right before his Week 2 performance, causing Mauricio to “black out” and miss steps.
But now, it looks like the real estate tycoon is back in his groove and may even be finding romance with his dance partner.
Mauricio Umansky spotted holding hands with Emma Slater
On Sunday night, Mauricio and Emma were spotted together, which doesn’t seem odd considering that they’ve been training hard as they continue to compete for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.
However, they weren’t at the DWTS studio for rehearsals. Instead, they were seen looking pretty cozy after enjoying dinner together.
TMZ was the first to report, complete with a grainy picture of the DWTS dance partners holding hands as they left a Beverly Hills eatery.
This isn’t the first time that romance rumors have cropped up for Mauricio and Emma, as there were whispers early on in the season that there may be more going on than just dancing.
Mauricio cleared up confusion about Kyle Richards separation
Last month, as he started his Dancing with the Stars journey, Mauricio Umansky claimed that he and Kyle Richards were not actually separated.
That’s what it was looking like, too, when the RHOBH star showed up on premiere night to cheer him on.
However, Mauricio walked back his claims just days later, confirming that they are actually separated at this point after months of rumors about their relationship as RHOBH picked back up to film what was going on between the two.
Despite Kyle’s support, Mauricio disappointed with his jive on premiere night, looking stiff after admitting that he didn’t even know what a jive was.
Week 2 was Latin night, and we were excited to see what Mauricio could do. Unfortunately, it wasn’t much after he missed some steps and pulled in the lowest score of the night.
He only survived the week because of his fans, and ultimately, Jamie Lynn Spears went home instead, giving Mauricio another chance to prove himself in Week 3.
The RHOBH husband is still in it to win it as he works hard with Emma Slater to impress the judges, but now, we can’t help but wonder if their DWTS relationship is all work and no play.
