Meri Brown turned 50 just a few days ago and she is ready to embrace everything that comes her way.
Living her life in the reality TV spotlight hasn’t been easy, but she is set on facing any challenges that come her way head-on.
For her birthday, Meri celebrated herself and talked about moving forward and on with life as she knows it. She addressed the future and the past, revealing it all happened and shaped who she is today.
The big 5-0 for Meri Brown
Turning 50 is a huge milestone. Meri Brown celebrated her big day on January 16, just a few days ago, and shared a heartfelt Instagram post with her followers.
Things haven’t always been easy for Meri, especially with being a star on Sister Wives. Many of her failures and successes have played out on reality TV. From her booming LuLaRoe business to her catfishing scandal, her life has been laid out and criticized by fans and followers.
As she moves into the next chapter (and decade) of her life, Meri wrote, in part, “This is 50. This is 50 years of living, of hope, of love, of experience. It’s 50 years of ups and downs, amazing days, sad moments, fabulous adventures, disappointing setbacks. Every single one of these experiences has shaped me to be who I am today.”

Of course, there are plenty of things to look forward to as well, including some challenges she expects to creep up. The Sister Wives star also addressed that in her lengthy Instagram post saying, “I’m open to all the possibilities and looking forward to all the accomplishments. I’m strengthening myself for the challenges that I know will come, because they will come. I’m not shying away from them. I’m not backing down from a challenge. I’m throwing myself into my fifties with determination, with grace, and most importantly, with love.”
When will Sister Wives return?
Season 15 of Sister Wives is expected to air soon, though a timeline has not been laid out by TLC yet. Christine Brown seemingly confirmed that it was in the works, but since then, it has been radio silent.
Some viewers were concerned that Meri Brown may have ruined the chances of it being picked up again after declaring her love for Kody Brown. She has been a huge part of keeping the drama alive and having fans tune in to see what is next, especially when her catfishing scandal was playing out.
While things may not be what they used to for the reality TV star, Meri is happy with her life, and reflecting on the last five decades is something she appeared to enjoy.
