The Real Housewives of New Jersey brought us Jennifer Aydin last season. The Turkish-American mom of five has been a controversial member of the cast ever since. She’s offended nearly every member of the cast at some point, but Teresa Giudice seems fond of her.
Like all of us, Jennifer is stuck inside for the time being. She’s “homeschooling” her children, Justin, Gabriella, Jacob, Christian, and Olivia. The kids range in age from 6 to 15, so Jennifer will have her hands full with the bunch.
Jennifer reveals natural hair in new video
Jennifer shared a video on Monday that showed her kids doing their schoolwork. After she showed viewers the five kids working in the family kitchen, she gave an explanation of her new ‘do.
“I didn’t feel like blowing out my hair today and I did it with a diffuser,” she explained, “I haven’t styled my hair curly in forever.”
Jennifer titled her new look “curly for corona” and said that she hasn’t worn it curly since before she met her husband, plastic surgeon Bill Aydin.
“It’s a little weird,” she said of the look, “but it’s natural!”
Although some RHONJ fans took the opportunity to comment about the beefs they have with Jennifer from the show, others just commented on how much they liked the look. “Love your hair curly, super cute,” said one commenter.
Jennifer is a social media regular
A self-styled comedienne, Jennifer often uses her Instagram to post jokes. Recently, she advertised her cameo services with a filter that made her head look like toilet paper- an obvious nod to the corona-induced shortages sweeping the country. Most recently, she posted a video of herself kissing a cardboard cutout of Andy Cohen at the reunion.
Jennifer is also a big fan of twitter, where she interacts with fans about the show. She revealed on both platforms last week a little tidbit about her reunion hairstyle. At the reunion, she donned long, rainbow bead extensions, which she said were a nod to her brother Steven.
Steven was featured on the show this season. His and Jennifer’s traditional mother has had a hard time accepting the fact that he is gay, and the struggle was a major part of the show. Although she still has some reservations, in the end, Steve and Jennifer’s mother loves her kids regardless of their sexuality. She supported him at a musical theatre performance he directed towards the end of the season.
We’ll be able to continue to see Jennifer, and her evolving hairstyles, in the coming seasons.
