Jenni “JWOWW” Farley announced yesterday that she and her boyfriend Zack Carpinello are officially engaged.
Zack popped the question on top of the Empire State Building on February 27.
Several fans commented to share their excitement for her, and many of her costars jumped in to congratulate her as well.
Her former costar Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola was one of the first to share a congratulatory message.
Fans will recall that Sammi and Jenni had a bit of a rocky past and got into some explosive arguments in the early days of Jersey Shore.
One of their bigger arguments occurred over the infamous “note” Jenni and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi wrote back when Sammi was dating Ronnie Ortiz-Magro.
Sammi has not participated in filming for several years now but still made a point to congratulate her former roommate.
Sammi didn’t invite her roommates to her wedding
While Sammi seems to be on friendly terms with some of her former costars, it doesn’t look like they will be making the cut for an invite to her wedding.
She got engaged to Christian Biscardi in 2019 and originally planned for a Spring 2020 wedding. However, due to the pandemic, Sammi had to postpone.
Vinny Guadagnino and Pauly DelVecchio revealed they hadn’t stayed in touch with Sammi since she stopped filming with them.
Regarding her wedding, Pauly said, “I have not spoken to Sammi, and I didn’t get an invite.”
Vinny added, “Same.”
Snooki, Jenni, and Deena Cortese also said they lost touch with Sammi but still loved and supported her regardless.
Why did Sammi leave Jersey Shore?
Fans will recall the tumultuous relationship between Sammi and Ronnie-Ortiz Magro.
The couple was often arguing to extreme levels, and the drama began to irritate the roommates. The couple had what many would consider a toxic on-again-off-again relationship for several years.
Soon after they broke up, Sammi met her current fiancé Christian Biscardi. She has been with Christian since 2017, and the two of them host their own YouTube channel called Sam and Christian TV.
When her former castmates reunited to film Jersey Shore Family Vacation, Sammi was content with removing herself from the show.
She no longer wanted to be in the limelight of reality television and said that she was grateful for Jersey Shore, but she was content with her life and was ready to focus on other things.
Despite not being on the show, Sammi continued to support her former castmates.
While Sammi will not be joining the cast, the roommates began filming the second half of season 4 recently.
They will now be quarantined at a resort in Pennsylvania and are once again bringing their significant others and family along with them.
MTV has yet to release an air date for the new season.
As Jenni received support from current and former costars for the new major milestone in her life, fans hoped to watch her engagement story play out as part of the new season.
Jersey Shore Family Vacation is currently on hiatus.
