Sweet Home Sextuplets star Courtney Waldrop is a busy mom with nine kids, but she still finds time to share her daily happenings with fans on social media.
On Tuesday, Courtney shared a series of posts on Instagram detailing what’s new at the Waldrop house.
The first post was captioned, “When we finally get grass I’m not sure that my kids will know what to do…they LOVE the dirt so much!! It’s what they are used to..they’ve grown up in it? but grass is coming and I can’t wait to NOT be tracking dirt inside anymore!!”
“Although we may have to keep a little dirt pile for keepsake? Almost 3 years under construction = dirt, dirt, and more dirt!!! Not sure how I have survived remodeling in 3 different phases over the last 3 years with 9 kids and Sextuplets but I’m FINALLY seeing the light at the end of the tunnel”
Courtney shared pics of the sextuplets playing outside. They had shovels, dump trucks, and toy bulldozers and looked like they enjoyed playing outside in the dirt and gravel.
In the second set of pics, husband Eric is sitting in a skid steer with a large pile of sod along with pics of workers laying the sod on their property.
Courtney captioned the second post, “GRASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who gets this excited over sod….?♀️?♀️?♀️ ME, ME, ME!!!!!”
“Truck load by truck load?? and Eric and his Awesome workers laying it!!”
Fans of the show know that the Waldrops’ home has been under construction since 2019, when they decided to expand their existing home rather than moving to accommodate their huge family.
In a second Instagram post, Eric is seen loading sod
The Waldrop kids have plenty of room to sprawl out at home
The family is fortunate to live on 40 acres in Albertville, Alabama, where the large family of 11 has plenty of room to spread out and play.
When construction began on the house, Courtney and Eric decided to cram their enormous family into a double-wide mobile home on their property to be close to the ongoing projects.
Courtney recently shared that their master bedroom and ensuite are nearing completion, and she was overjoyed. She has been sharing a lot on social media, and fans seem excited to see updates on both the kids and the construction project.
The sextuplets, Blu, Layke, Rayne, Rawlings, Rivers, and Tag celebrated their third birthdays this past December. All six of the “babies,” as Courtney and Eric affectionately call them, are thriving toddlers who keep the family on its toes.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the fourth season to return after taping for season three was temporarily halted due to the pandemic.
Sweet Home Sextuplets is currently on hiatus.
