Colton Underwood, best known for his time on The Bachelor, has revealed that he has tested positive for coronavirus.
While revealing his test results with followers on Instagram, Colton told everyone that he had been following all social distancing rules “since last week” and there is even proof that he’s been a huge supporter of the “wash your hands movement too.”
He even shared a photo of himself five days ago where Underwood was walking a safe distance away from those in front of him and was donning a sweatshirt that said, “Please wash your hands.”
Now, the Bachelor star is fighting coronavirus and he’s urging everyone to stay inside and to be vigilant.
Colton Underwood tells fans about his coronavirus results
On a video message, Colton Underwood wrote, “We got this. I tested positive and I have been following all of the social distancing rules since last week. My symptoms started a few days ago, I was tested and just received my results today.”
He continued, “For anyone out there that is hesitant to self quarantine… please do yourself and your loved ones a favor and stay home. We will all beat this and come out stronger on the other side. I’ll keep you posted, Love y’all.”

In the video, Colton gave even more details about why he took a coronavirus test and how he’s doing now. He also urged everyone, even young people, to do what they can to slow this virus down.
“I want to let you guys know: I’m 28, I consider myself pretty healthy, I work out regularly, I eat healthy, and I became symptomatic a few days ago, got my test results back today, and they are positive,” Colton said into the camera.
Despite Colton Underwood’s age, he said he is feeling the effects of COVID-19 and it’s got him “exhausted.”
“It’s been kicking my ass, just to put it pretty bluntly,” he said. “The main thing is I can’t even walk up a flight of stairs without being out of breath or go to the bathroom without having to sit down because I’m exhausted.”
Cassie Randolph exposed
Colton won’t be quarantined alone because he was with his girlfriend, Cassie Randolph, and her parents, as the group sheltered in place in their Huntington Beach, Calif. home.
Colton even commented on how he may have infected Cassie and her family since he has been around them for the past week. He did reassure everyone that he and Cassie’s family are all still “in good spirits.”

Then, Colton went on to warn everyone to do their past not to spread coronavirus and to take all of the COVID-19 warnings seriously.
“So, I guess the reason I’m sharing this is not to cause fear or panic, but to hopefully encourage you guys to stay home, do your part, take care of yourselves, take care of one another.” He continued. “I just want to encourage everybody to stay at home. Stay in your house and do your part and take care of one another.”
