The Bachelorette teased shocking exits, tough love, and a broken heart for series lead Katie Thurston in a new trailer for the remainder of the newest season of the reality dating series.
The preview is indicative of what viewers can expect from the series moving forward. Fans had best buckle up for what’s to come.
There were some very revealing moments and potential spoilers as the clip evolved.
It appears that Justin Glaze will finally have his moment with Katie. In the preview, he shares a one-on-one date with the show lead. Katie said, “You make me happy every day” but it is unclear if she is addressing Justin in the clip. However, from the looks of the clip, Justin may finally be able to reveal what he has to offer in regards to a relationship with the brunette stunner.
In a clip where Thurston is hugging Mike Planeta, she is heard saying those three words pivotal to a Bachelorette romance, “I love you.” The editing leads fans to believe she is speaking to Mike, but that is yet to be determined.
The biggest twist of all in the teaser clip was when Katie said that she was afraid her person just left. On the chopping block could be fan-favorite Greg Grippo, who has struggled with sharing Katie with other men throughout the process.
The Bachelorette teaser has so much more to unpack
Katie appears to get a second surprise this season after someone knocks on her door, and she appeared shocked upon opening it. She said, “The last thing I ever expected was you.”
Co-host Tayshia Adams asks an off-camera male contestant about the real reasons they are there. This could mean that either yet another new person joined the season or she will address a contestant’s ulterior motives for participating in the show.
The trailer revealed that Blake had not yet told Katie he loved her. “What if somebody else has already said it and she’s said it back? What are you waiting for?” a person who appears to be close to the Bachelorette veteran questioned.
Katie was also seen rather upset with producers, asking aloud for someone to buy her a ticket home and that she was done with filming. It has not been reported as yet why she became so upset. The teaser alludes to either one of her mean leaving or perhaps, one man in particular not reciprocating her feelings.
Breaking with Bachelorette filming tradition, Katie’s season wrapped earlier than expected. This could be indicative of the reasons for her wanting to leave or it could be another thing entirely.
Who’s left in the competition for Katie’s heart?
Katie has 12 men left as The Bachelorette Season 17 heads into Week 6. Blake Moynes, Hunter Montgomery, Andrew Spencer, Greg Grippo, Tre Cooper, Aaron Clancy, Michael Allio, Mike Planeta, Brendan Scanzano, Justin Glaze, and Connor Brennan are still in the running to win Katie’s love.
Michael appears to be torn between his life at home and his quest for love. Speaking with his son via FaceTime, he told him how much he missed him. The little boy replied, “Maybe Daddy don’t want to see me.” He will later share with Katie that the conversation “tore him apart” and that he cannot focus on anything else.
It has also been rumored that a surprise guest will add to the drama of Katie’s season.
The Bachelorette airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
