Based on some spoilers that arrived online about The Challenge Season 37, a situation between a few castmates, resulting in two people getting kicked off the show.

That is former Big Brother winner Josh Martinez.

The first rumored situation involved Fessy Shafaat in an “altercation” with his Double Agents ally Josh. Because of that altercation, Fessy got kicked off the show during Season 37 filming.

Specifics of the altercation were not part of the spoilers given online.

“Millionaire” Mitchell argued with Josh, resulting in her disqualification from the show. It’s unknown what the nature of the argument was that resulted in her DQ, though.

The recent spoilers shown on an insider/superfan account about The Challenge on Instagram caught Idris Virgo’s attention.

Idris appeared on just one season of the show, War of the Worlds 2, where he was a castmate of Josh’s.

A fan in the comments on the IG spoiler post asked Idris what his opinion of Josh was, and Idris didn’t seem to hold back in terms of his criticism.

“He can’t compete. He just a layup every session. Jealous he get a call back. YEP!” Idris commented in his reply.

“I agree, hopefully they will give us that call. It will be so epic! Now I know how to play the game….,” Idris stated in his reply.

In his only appearance, Idris was a competitor on Team UK during the War of the Worlds 2 season. In the first episode, he picked up a debut elimination win against fellow rookie Sean Lineker.

Idris survived until Episode 9, where castmate Theo Campbell eliminated him.

Idris has not returned to The Challenge since his WOTW2 debut because of his professional boxing career, However, he appears eager for a call to return.

Josh continues to get calls to return. His appearance on The Challenge Season 37 will be his fifth on MTV’s competition series.

He picked up his first elimination win on Season 36, Double Agents, when he defeated rookie Mechie Harris in an Asset Destruction event.

However, the production made a comedic segment out of it as they showed Josh struggling to throw the balls to break targets on a wall at first until things benefitted him.

He’d last until Double Agents Episode 12, where Chris “CT” Tamburello eliminated him in the Dead Ringer event, ending Josh’s bid to make his first final on The Challenge.

Josh took part in drama and several arguments during the season, including with castmates Chris “CT” Tamburello, Devin Walker, Kyle Christie, and Jay Starrett.

Those instances seemed to have many fans irritated with the Big Brother star, wondering why the show continues to bring him back.

Several weeks ago, a Challenge producer and casting lead brought up Josh during an interview as an example of a cast member who gets a lot of hate and isn’t a “well-liked cast member” based on social media feedback.

However, she said she felt “he really brings something to the show.” She also felt things could turn around for him.

The Challenge Season 37 premiere date is TBA for 2021 on MTV.
