Two castaways who got voted off Survivor last week will begin the new episode on Extinction Island.

Thanks to this twist that has been used before, they will have a chance to return to the game.

As host Jeff Probst explained during the Survivor: Winners at War season premiere, the residents of Extinction Island will still have an impact on those players who are still in the game.

That has also already been shown to be the case.

Who got voted off Survivor last week?

It was a two-hour premiere for Survivor 40, giving production enough time to work its way through two different Tribal Councils. With the way things played out, it also led to each tribe eliminating one person.

The Sele Tribe (blue) lost the first Immunity Challenge — which took place right after they disembarked from their boats — and had to vote someone out on the evening of Day 2.

The majority went with Natalie Anderson, and she became the first person voted off Survivor this season. She willed her Fire Token to Jeremy Collins on the way out.

At the second Tribal Council, the Dakal Tribe (red) had to take their turn on voting someone out.

Behind a push from two-time winner Sandra Diaz-Twine, the tribe voted to send Amber Mariano to Extinction Island.

When Amber left, she expectedly willed her Fire Token to Rob Mariano.

Who has the Hidden Immunity Idol?

When Natalie made her way to Extinction Island, she got to work right away. Though she had to take a long hike up the mountain that’s on the island, she tracked down the first Hidden Immunity Idol of the season.

Natalie was then able to offer that Idol to someone still in the game in exchange for their Fire Token.

When given the opportunity, Sandra jumped at it, securing the Hidden Immunity Idol and pocketing the advantage.

This could be a huge deal as the Winners at War season progresses, especially since nobody else has any clue that she is already in possession of the Immunity Idol.

Will she share that information? Or will she keep it a secret?

Survivor 40, Episode 2 airs on Wednesday, February 19, with another castaway projected to be sent to Extinction Island.

The early preview also hints that there could be some action involving Natalie and Amber as they try to get back in the game.

Survivor: Winners at War airs Wednesday nights at 8/7c on CBS.
