RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars 4 is back this Friday on VH1 and the network has released the first 14 minutes of the premiere episode.
It’s clear that the expectations are high and the contestants are ready to prove that they are worth the title and the crown of All-Stars 4. But before they enter the coveted hall of fame as the winner of this season, the girls will have to compete on a season with a few twists and turns.
One of these twists is heavily hinted during the entrance of the final two contestants of the season. Watch here or get a brief recap of the teaser below.
Monique Heart is the first to enter the workroom, introducing herself as the heart of Season 10. She explains that she has more money than when she first appeared on the show, revealing that her clothing choices aren’t an issue anymore.
The next person to step into the room is Trinity Taylor from Season 9. She changes her name to Trinity The Tuck because she finds it less boring than Taylor. She also reveals that she’s more confident and she’s the whole package.
Next up is Naomi Smalls, calling herself the legs of Season 8. Of course, Naomi is all into fashion and the judges have given her credit for her fashion choices. She was a top three, but she’s here to prove she’s more than just a fashion model.
Monet X Change is back! She was a frontrunner during the 10th season, but she never actually won a single season.
Gia Gunn is from Season 6 and she’s been called the feisty one. She reveals that she’s gone through a phase of self-discovery, so it’ll be interesting to see how she’s changed.
Farrah Moan — aka the crybaby — is back. That’s a title she’s given herself, as she cried her way through the entire competition. Hopefully, Moan can show that she’s now a grown woman, who doesn’t whine when she’s asked to compete.
Jasmine Masters is also back on the show. She was on season 7, so it’s been a while since we’ve seen her. Masters was yelled by at RuPaul when she showed up unprepared for a competition. Since the show, she’s become the meme queen, thanks to some help from Justin Bieber.
Lastly, Valentina also returns for All-Stars. She was sent home because she couldn’t remember the words for her lipsync, being the first contestant to be eliminated for this season. But she has focused on her career, working with Vogue, since her time on the show.
After the eight girls are introduced, RuPaul enters the workroom to give the guidelines. He reveals that the contestants will lipsync for $10,000 each week and the winner will be able to eliminate someone. That means that the elimination rules have not changed, despite some desires to see this system altered.
RuPaul then introduces Latrice Royale and Manila Luzon — in handcuffs. That’s when some of the cast members quickly realize that this season could be filmed in teams. And since they are all fiercely competitive, this news doesn’t sit well!
RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars returns this Friday at 8/7c on VH1.
