Days of our Lives spoilers for the next week’s episodes of the NBC sudser tease that there are tons of sizzling and unforgettable events that you don’t want to miss as the New Year kicks off. What could be better than a soapalicious plot about a back from the dead amnesiac running around town, right?
Well, Jack (Matthew Ashford) is back in Salem but not exactly as his loved ones remember him. Oh wait, they remember him, he’s the one with amnesia!
Leave it to Eve (Kassie DePaiva) to send bombs of destruction flying everywhere on New Year’s Eve (get it?). Riding in on her broomstick she took what should have been a wonderful moment and turned it ugly as sin when she returned with Jack in tow.
He thinks the world of her but the only use she has for him is as a revenge tool against her enemies.
On Monday Jack has an awkward run-in with Kayla (Mary Beth Evans). The blond beauty has no trouble telling him who he used to be, and he is shell-shocked by the horrendous discovery.
Cin didn’t last long, which is exactly what Hope (Kristian Alfonso) wanted. By weeks end these two break up but don’t put it past The Necktie Killer to pursue his crush in a sneaky way.
After getting the job done by putting an end to Cin, Hope takes charge in a different way. She doesn’t stop until she convinces Ted (Gilles Marini) to lawyer up with Stefan (Tyler Christopher).
Elsewhere Xander (Paul Telfer) is loud and proud as he and his rippling muscles roam the town once again, but bringing chagrin wherever he goes. Oh wait, turns out he has an admirer.
Yep, sneaky snaky Leo (Greg Rikaart) catches sight of the Human Torso and instantly swoons. Who wouldn’t?
J.J. (Casey Moss) is shocked to learn that Haley (Thia Megia) has been keeping a secret from him.
And Rex (Kyle Lowder) is back, making things spectacularly awkward for Sarah (Lindsey Godfrey) and Eric (Greg Vaughan).
