Days of our Lives spoilers for next week tease upcoming episodes of the NBC show will focus on shocking connections, regret, and challenging choices.

Life in Salem is going to be rocked for several reasons, and the ramifications will be felt by so many. It is not only the baby switch storyline that is exploding. The Evan (Brock Kelly) story is full of shocking twists, especially how he got involved with Jordan (Chrishell Stause).

Evan’s connection to Salem

Little David is not the only connection Evan has to Salem. Viewers know he made a mysterious phone call recently asking for help. Evan is related to one of the evilest men in Days’ history, Orpheus (George DelHoyo).

There is speculation Orpheus is Evan’s father. Fans will recall the supervillain had two children, who were left without a mother when his wife Rebecca was killed. Orpheus had a son and daughter, so it is not far-fetched to think that Evan is Orpheus’ son.

Adding fuel to the Evan and Orpheus connection is Clyde’s (James Read) reaction to learning Evan’s real name. Clyde is thrown when Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) informs him Evan is not only Christian Maddox but also little David’s father.

Ben listens as Clyde recalls being partly responsible for Jordan meeting Evan, essentially leading to her death. Orpheus and Clyde did wreak havoc on the good people of Salem years ago after meeting in prison. They were quite the terrorizing team, except Orpheus makes Clyde look like a saint.

The hunt to find little David is in full swing. Rafe (Galen Gering) has no luck getting information out of Evan, despite grilling him. Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) join Rafe is the search to find David.

Princess Gina aftermath

Princess Gina’s (Kristian Alfonso) pleas to Dr. Rolf (William Utay) to save her fall on deaf ears. The doctor removes the chip from Gina, turning her back into the woman Salem loves — Hope.

Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) fill Hope in on what happened to her. Hope is shocked to learn Dr. Rolf turned her into Gina for such a long time. There is a lot Hope has missed. She is devastated to learn of the actions Gina inflicted on the people Hope loves.

Stefano (Stephen Nichols) is furious Dr. Rolf turned Gina back into Hope. Now that John (Drake Hogestyn) knows the procedure can be reversed, he is more determined than ever to find Marlena (Deidre Hall). Stefano’s time to get through to his “Queen of the Night” is running out.

Baby switch drama continues

Nicole reels from the fact Mackenzie is Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) daughter, not Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Sarah’s (Linsey Godfrey) baby.

She knows she needs solid proof before she can begin to come clean with what she knows. Nicole takes drastic measures to get evidence, including staging a catfight with Kristen to get her DNA.

Xander (Paul Telfer) proposes to Sarah, but his happiness is short-lived. He knows Nicole is dangerously close to finding out the truth. Xander lets Victor (John Aniston) know they have another problem on their hands. Will Victor demand Xander take out Nicole as he did with Dr. Raynor (Victoria Platt)?

There is so much juicy drama going on in Salem right now. Fans are going to want to watch every second of the NBC drama as two stories are about to explode.

Days of our Lives airs weekdays on NBC.
