General Hospital: Is Carly going to die?

General Hospital viewers wonder what will happen to Carly (Laura Wright). 

The actress has been a staple on the ABC soap since 2005 in the role of Carly, and she is the fourth actress to hold the role. 

Now, it looks like her life is hanging in the balance because of her curiosity. 

What happened to Carly on General Hospital? 

After having a run-in with a drunk Harmony (Inga Cadranel) at the Metro Court and later at Alexis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house to check on her, some red flags popped out. 

Carly picked up some comments about Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), and they weighed on her. Something was amiss, and it wouldn’t get out of her head. 

When she checked on Harmony, Carly walked into something she wasn’t prepared to handle. She walked into the disposal of notes that confirmed Willow wasn’t her daughter. Because Carly is naturally nosy, she looked at some of them and some of the pieces in the fireplace. 

She confronted Harmony, and when it was clear Carly didn’t believe anything, she attempted to stab her with a syringe of what was assumed to be heroin, like she used to kill Neil (Joe Flanigan) and attempted to use to kill his brother. 

The two struggled, and at the end of yesterday’s episode, Carly was knocked out in the back seat of her car. 

Will Carly die on General Hospital? 

It’s a very precarious situation Carly has found herself to be in. She had no idea how dangerous Harmony was, and now, she is unconscious (or dead) in the backseat of her car. 

The previews teased Harmony, saying something about having gone too far, and it looks like she may attempt to ensure Carly is no longer a problem. 

Will Carly die at the hands of Harmony? It’s an unlikely possibility at this point. She is used in nearly every storyline, and her episode count per year is higher than most on the show. 

It appeared as though the car was on a cliff or somewhere similar in a wooded area. General Hospital spoilers teased that Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) made a shocking discovery.

With Carly being an essential part of the show to the writers, they are unlikely to kill her off. Harmony already has two murders under her belt. Adding Carly wouldn’t make sense. However, now that she knows something is up, keeping her quiet is necessary.
