General Hospital spoilers for next week reveal that a lot is happening in Port Charles, and there is no slowing down in sight. As the Corinthos family remains on high alert, the other people in town are dealing with their own demons.

With a custody battle brewing and another innocent person being locked away for crimes she didn’t commit, there is going to be plenty to focus on in the coming weeks on General Hospital.

Peter hasn’t gotten away with it just yet

While Peter (Wes Ramsey) may believe he did an excellent job framing Liesl (Kathleen Gati) for his crimes, that isn’t quite the case. Jason (Steve Burton) knows better, and if anyone knows anything about the doctor, they know that she would never have sacrificed her life with Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and James.

When Lulu (Emme Rylan) questions Maxie about the latest in the case of suspicious Peter, the two will exchange some pretty harsh words. She is standing behind her man, even if that means she has to lose the people around her. Remember, Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) had his head chewed off when he made comments to her about Peter.

Anna (Finola Hughes) is going to look for a way to stick it to Jason. After he told her about Peter and revealed all of her hidden doubts, she wants to get him back. Messing with mama bear won’t end well.

Cyrus remains an issue

All of the events Cyrus (Jeff Kober) has put into motion are still being talked about. Taggert’s (Real Andrews) death will not go unavenged, which means things are still going to be intense. Sonny (Maurice Benard) made a promise that Cyrus will pay, but will he make good on it?

Trina (Sydney Mikayla) is still reeling and filled with hurt and anger. She is certain that Curtis (Donnell Turner) is to blame for her father’s death. Some General Hospital fans have wondered if he will turn out to be her real father, especially after his connection to her mother, Portia (Brook Kerr).

Even behind bars, Cyrus is making the people of Port Charles squirm. That won’t stop in the coming days, and it may even increase as tensions reach an all-time high. He holds a lot of power for a man who is locked up behind bars.

As Port Charles gears up for another week, things are going to remain intense and chaotic. What else would viewers expect from the ABC soap?

General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
