General Hospital spoilers for the Tuesday, October 23, 2018 episode of ABC’s sudser promise lots of soapy action takes place as several people discover that a friend in need is a friend indeed.

Today JaSam are busy being good samaritans. Stone Cold (Steve Burton) is a pretty good therapist, who knew? First, he helped Oscar (Garren Stitt) after the teen heard the devastating news that his parents kept his incurable cancer a secret from him.

Last week, Jason even sought Monica’s (Leslie Charleson) advice on how to help Oscar. If this whole mob exterminator thing doesn’t work out, Jason should go back to medical school like he first planned, and get a shingle to hang.

Anyway, on Tuesday it’s Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) who he helps out. At the same time, Sam (Kelly Monaco) has a few wise words to share.

Elsewhere, Nina (Michelle Stafford) is thankful. Is it because Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) has decided to stick with the whole reunion thing even though Nina gave her every reason not to? Or, is she grateful to that scoundrel Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) for running into Sasha and letting her know how amazing her mother really is?

Ava (Maura West) isn’t having such a happy day. That’s what happens when you go on a vendetta against your own daughter, even contemplating her death. Yikes!

If Ava thinks that Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) is the answer to her prayers, she will be shocked that she’s been punked. Ava is going down a scary, self-destructive road and this week she only makes matters worse by being her own worst enemy.

Nurse Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) has her listening hat on today. It seems that Drew (Billy Miller) finds her a comforting presence. Maybe Franco (Roger Howarth) should be worried?

General Hospital airs on weekdays on ABC.
