The Bold and the Beautiful fans know that a, “who’s the daddy?” storyline is commonplace on daytime dramas. Not so common is a, “who’s the baby?” plot! But that’s exactly what’s going down on B&B right now.
Recently fans were utterly devastated to learn that Lope’s baby did not survive. Liam (Scott Clifton) and Hope (Annika Noelle) were destroyed by the news that Beth did not make it, news delivered by the same doctor who supposed delivered the baby.
That would be Reese (Wayne Brady) who has a sketchy past to say the least. So, when he suddenly and conveniently produced a newborn from his back bedroom and presented it to Taylor (Hunter Tylo) what are we to think?
Is this Lope’s baby Beth? Commonsense would say so, but there are so many unanswered questions about that fateful night on Catalina Island.
For one, there was another young woman who we saw Reece consoling before she left the clinic. Speculation is that she was pregnant as well, but what happened to her maybe-baby is anyone’s guess.
What we do know is that Reese needs $200,000 to pay off a Vegas gambling debt. And he has offered the baby to Taylor for Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to adopt. A young girl named Florence said it was hers, and the good doc was helping her out of a jam.
Explosive spoilers now reveal that Florence and Reese have a history as she works in a casino and these two have likely pulled off previous scams together.
Will Steffy adopt the baby? Probably, but there will be further complications as Reese wants to be an anonymous donor so to speak!
This is a right royal mess with no easy answers in sight. Stay tuned, the plot as they say, is about to thicken!
